Non-Uniform Day – Earthquake Appeal
A reminder that we have a non-uniform day and bake sale this Friday 24 February to raise money for the dreadful humanitarian crisis in Turkey and Syria following the recent earthquakes. Please can students bring £1 on the day to be added to the collection and, in addition, bring some money for the bake sale at lunchtime.
Parents: can you donate any buns, cakes, biscuits or other produce to be sold? Homemade or shop bought is fine! Please help us to raise as much money as possible for this campaign.
Thank you in advance for any support you can offer.

Share Your Career Story
We were delighted to have the BBC in school on 28th January as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations and their outreach work with schools. The BBC ‘Share Your Career Story’ is designed to inspire students about careers in storytelling and the creative industries.
As well as advice about careers in the creative and media industries they talked about the importance of ‘soft skills’ in all industries and the importance of developing these skills before leaving school.
It was a fabulous day!
