At The Crossley Heath School, we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive in their education, regardless of financial circumstances. The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund provides essential financial support to help students overcome specific barriers to participation in education, enabling them to remain in their studies and achieve their goals.

We offer two types of bursaries: those for defined vulnerable groups and discretionary bursaries tailored to individual needs. This support can assist with costs such as travel, essential equipment, educational trips, and meals. Eligibility is based on government guidelines, and we work closely with students and families to ensure the process is straightforward and supportive.

Applications are assessed confidentially and fairly, with payments made directly to students or provided in kind, such as books or transport passes. By removing financial barriers, the bursary fund helps to create a level playing field, ensuring that all students can fully engage with their education and seize the opportunities that await them.
